She was recognized by the whole world for her great roles in world-famous Movies like Harry Porter and a few other independent Movies and Music videos. She was also well-recognized for her efforts toward Gender Equality and Women’s rights. She was one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Times Magazine in the year of 2015. Watson was known as the world’s highest-paid actress.

Emma Watson was appointed as a Union Women goodwill ambassador of the United Nations in July 2014. At the headquarters of the United Nations in New York, Emma gave a speech for the launch event of "He for She." He for She was a Program launched by the United Nations on the 20th of Sep in the year 2014, which was started by both men and women as a Global Revolution for Gender Equality.
The event 'Gender Equality' runs and includes both Women and Men and all other genders who fight the Gender equality. This campaign’s main Motive was to gather one Billion Men and let them know about Gender Equality that leads to the end of problems faced by women across the Globe. The logo represents that both Men and Women are equal which are of black and red colours.
The United Nations had selected her as a Goodwill Ambassador. The cause is that famous people like her will use their fame and other sources and help the United Nations to influence people about Gender Equality. Emma gave a speech about problems of Gender inequalities which included her own father and a few other men who committed suicide in the United Kingdom. Emma wants to express that 'HeforShe' is not only for women but also for men who are facing problems. She says that even Men are being imprisoned by Gender discrimination in the present day society.
She particularly says that, whenever Men stop all the Gender inequalities and start treating women equally and encourage women in each and every aspect, then there will be a change in society. Now, everything seems normal for both men and Women.
Emma concludes her speech by saying that this 'HeforShe' program will be successful only when both the men and women of all groups, all the organizations across the Globe take responsibility for their future generations and fight for Gender Equality. If not, our future generations will face many more problems in the upcoming years. She even included the word Feminism which means equality for women with men.
After listening to listening to the speech of Emma, Many people across the Globe were Motivated and took responsibility for the 'HeforShe' movement and it became very popular. But, the general secretary of the United Nations criticized her that “she’s waving a magic wand “ which means Emma is an Actress and she feels that she would change or solve all the problems faced by people because of Gender inequalities because of her roles in different films, but Emma was not discouraged. She ended her speech by saying that - This movement's fight for Gender equality will be successful only when men are involved and fight for it.
